The Role:

We're seeking a Pricing and Analytics Specialist to play a pivotal role in assessing, analysing, and optimising our pricing strategy to drive growth and profitability. As a key member of our team, you'll maintain and deliver our core pricing models, gather and analyse inputs, and provide data-driven insights to inform our pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and deliver pricing models to ensure accurate outputs for budgeting, reporting, and commercial initiatives.
  • Utilise data analysis and market trends to assess pricing opportunities, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop and implement robust control reporting mechanisms to ensure adherence to our pricing policies.
  • Collaborate with our Data team to define requirements for reporting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Assist in crafting compelling business cases for product and pricing changes.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and market trends to inform our pricing strategy and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial modelling, preferably in a financial services environment.
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis and strategy development.
  • Experience in business case development.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in VBA beneficial.
  • Proficiency in analysis tools or software, such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, PowerBI, or Tableau.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
