Pricing and Rebate Expert Role

Overview

Experis seeks a skilled Pricing and Rebate Expert to join their team in the Animal Health industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the rebate process for business units in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Implement pricing actions for business units in Australia and New Zealand as required.
  • Support rebate and pricing activities for the business unit, including rebate analytics, trackers, and calculations.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Engagement team and liaise with the Finance team.
  • Work with the Business Service Centre and local team to manage quarterly forecasts and annual planning processes.
  • Support the Business Unit Lead with forecasts, pricing, and business opportunities focusing on key accounts and key products.
  • Analyse business performance against key metrics and assist in understanding key risks and opportunities.
  • Provide commentary on major variances to forecasts, budgets, and prior year actual results.
  • Manage consolidation, analysis, and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and expenses, and provide insights into key variances.
  • Develop customer-centricity by proactively seeking to understand customer requirements and expectations.
  • Establish new ways of working through the continuous review and improvement of processes, including standardization, simplification, and automation of time-intensive manual steps.
  • Ensure financial controls within the organization and assure financial integrity and accuracy during the monthly close process.

Requirements

  • Experience in pricing, rebates, and financial planning and analysis roles.
  • Proficiency in using financial applications and systems, including SAP.
  • Credit note experience is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide technical expertise to support cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to think beyond numbers and combine data with strategy and financial insight.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to meet deadlines and financial requirements within defined guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with senior management.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Industry Expertise

Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or Animal Health industry is preferred but not essential.
