  • Enhancing relationships and cultural confidence.
  • Boosting retention and leadership opportunities through targeted career development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.
  • Improving supplier diversity and procurement practices throughout our supply chain.

This position is available for candidates located in major metropolitan areas.

Your Contributions

Reporting to the Head of Diversity, Inclusion, and Talent, you will oversee comprehensive program initiatives directly tied to our Indigenous Inclusion Strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting the integration of the Australia Post Group's Stretch RAP.
  • Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution and performance reporting of the Stretch RAP.
  • Providing guidance on the creation of inclusive policies and programs that resonate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Managing the delivery of Indigenous initiatives and cultural events in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Consulting regularly with Indigenous employee reference groups to assess the effectiveness of our initiatives.
  • Driving recruitment and professional development programs for Indigenous talent.
  • Offering insights on Indigenous trends and policies to enhance our ongoing efforts.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to influence and advise in complex environments. You should excel in leading large-scale initiatives and thrive in a dynamic setting.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in managing large-scale initiatives and Indigenous leadership programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and reporting on Reconciliation Action Plans.
  • Ability to foster effective Indigenous Employee and RAP Working Groups.
  • Expertise in developing cultural frameworks to enhance engagement and reconciliation efforts.

Our Commitment to You

  • We prioritize your long-term growth, supporting your development through our core values of trust, inclusivity, empowerment, and safety.
  • Experience a workplace culture that values diversity and encourages authenticity.
  • We are dedicated to your wellbeing and recognize your contributions through various rewards and benefits.
