**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Financial Analyst** to join our Corporate Finance team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely accounting information to support our business operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Daily Bank Reconciliations**: Maintain and perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- **Accounts Receivable Management**: Actively work with the team and wider business to perform Accounts Receivable core functions, including cash allocations, timely clearance of unmatched/unallocated receipts, and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare month-end journals for cost and revenue accruals, and manage the revenue reporting process to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- **Balance Sheet Reconciliations**: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- **Tax Compliance**: Understand and apply GST and FBT implications of accounting transactions, and review correctness of expense coding for account allocation, GST input tax credit, and FBT charge.
- **Audit Support**: Partner with the corporate finance team to respond to audit queries and provide support as needed.
**Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Working towards or completed CA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong Excel skills are required; SUN system experience is beneficial.
