Telecommunications Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the installation and expansion of our telecommunications infrastructure across Australia.

The successful candidate will lead our rigging teams, oversee the installation of new telecom structures, upgrades to existing networks, and commissioning of installed hardware.

This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in the telecommunications or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Erect new telecom structures, including towers and monopoles, while ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
  • Upgrade existing 4G and 5G networks, including running new cable and plumbing.
  • Commission and test installed hardware, including fault finding and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and site paperwork.
  • Work at heights to install new equipment, using intermediate/advanced rigging tickets and working at heights certifications.
Requirements:
  • Australian driver's license (high-risk desirable).
  • National Police Check.
  • White card.
  • Working at heights tickets (required).
  • First aid & CPR certification (required).
  • Intermediate/advanced rigging ticket (required).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the telecommunication or construction industry.
  • Basic knowledge in the use of hand tools.
  • Physically fit and able to climb and lift.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Essential Skills:
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental systems and principles.
  • Proficient in MS applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
