Residential Care Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a Residential Care Manager to lead a team of Support Workers in a 24/7 care setting.
About the Role
- Provide purposeful support to young people with high and complex needs.
- Lead the team to establish a secure base for young people within the home.
- Coordinate culturally appropriate services to facilitate opportunities for young individuals to connect with their identified culture.
Main Responsibilities
- Build professional, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- E nsure the home is emotionally and physically safe, nurturing, and engaging.
- Manage and support a team of residential workers.
- Undertake rostering and coordinate intake and transition of new children and young people.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar qualification.
- Completed Top Up Units in Youth Work.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or similar (desired).
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and managing crises.
