Job Title: Operations Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating side arm loader waste trucks and performing basic vehicle maintenance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently and as part of a team. As an Operations Driver, you will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment and make a real difference in our community.

The ideal candidate will have a current HR class license or higher, a clean driving record, and a minimum of two years' experience driving HR or bigger trucks. Previous aligned operational experience is also highly desirable.

If successful, you will be required to pass a medical assessment and obtain immunizations against Hepatitis A and B before commencing work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate side arm loader waste trucks safely and efficiently
  • Perform daily pre-start safety checks on vehicles
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on waste vehicles
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with the public in a professional manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current HR class license or higher
  • Clean driving record
  • A minimum of two years' experience driving HR or bigger trucks
  • Previous aligned operational experience (preferably within the waste collections environment)
