**About The Role**:
Delivering reinforcing steel to construction sites throughout Queanbeyan while driving brand-new, crane-equipped semi-trailers. You will be reporting to the Transport Supervisor and you'll play a pivotal role in fulfilling duties typically handled by the operator, all while embodying our company values

Key responsibilities:

- Safely operate and drive our brand-new trucks, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
- Utilise crane equipment for loading and unloading at sites, ensuring secure and efficient handling of materials
- Assist in fulfilling duties of an Operator/Storeperson during extended waiting periods, contributing to the overall efficiency of on-site operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections and any incidents, provide these in a timely manner to Transport Supervisor
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Adhere to all WHS and Heavy Vehicle Transport regulations, policies and procedures
- Please also note that pre-employment and drug testing will be required to be successful in this role.

You will have previous experience in driving heavy combination vehicles and operating cranes.

You also demonstrate:

- Valid Australian HC Truck Licence
- White card, Asbestos and Silica Safety Certifications
- CV Crane Licence (or proof of enrolment)
- Willingness to work regular Overtime and have flexibility in working hours based on deliveries and customer demand
- Adaptability to provide assistance at the branch
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A professional and safety-oriented mindset
