
Dam Assets Manager

The Asset Manager Dams will lead the management of dam assets, focusing on renewal planning, inspection and maintenance strategies, and comprehensive condition assessments to maintain service quality and compliance to regulatory requirements.
They will ensure the inspection and maintenance activities are completed to optimise asset performance and safety, whilst maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Renewal Planning: Develop and implement effective renewal plans for dam assets, considering factors such as asset lifespan, condition, and risk.
- Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues, ensuring optimal asset performance and safety.
- Condition Assessments: Perform comprehensive condition assessments to evaluate the current state of dam assets, identifying areas for improvement and prioritizing maintenance activities accordingly.
- A degree qualification in civil engineering, structural engineering or a related discipline or suitable industry experience in the dam safety field is essential.
- Asset Management experience, preferably with the development of asset maintenance, renewal and condition assessment plans and programs, is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the management of structural assets is required, with experience with dam assets being highly desirable.
