Job Title: Site Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at PSI Global Group Limited. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Clients: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Site Resource Management: Ensure a steady flow of work is issued by the client(s) to maintain the site resource levels.
- Survey and Reporting: Conduct site surveys and submit reports to the commercial department for pricing.
- Site Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate site work in accordance with the instructions of the client and their Contracts Manager.
- Health and Safety: Organize and deliver associated pre-start briefings and ongoing toolbox talks, and complete and submit the associated paperwork.
- Progress Updates: Deliver in accordance with the programme for the site works and keep the Contracts Manager updated on progress.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation to allow works to start, i.e. Site Specific Risk Assessment, etc.
- Training and Development: Deliver general toolbox talk training sessions and method statement briefings, and complete the associated paperwork.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Manage all sub-contractors and site visitors and ensure their safety during works.
Requirements:
- Experience: Ideally in Roofing/facades or general construction.
- Multi-Skilled: Multi-skilled in all aspects of building envelope.
- First Aid: First Aid certification.
- Driving Licence: Full clean driving licence.
- Health and Safety: An understanding of relevant health & safety legislation.
- SSSTS/SMSTS: SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
- Computer Skills: Good computer skills.
- Professional Attitude: Professional attitude and ability to operate without supervision.
- Teaching and Development: Capable of teaching and developing operatives.
