About the Role

We are seeking compassionate care professionals to provide evidence-based and personalised care to our elderly residents in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with showering, grooming, toileting, dressing, and pad changes for our residents.
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide meals, basic cleaning, and laundry services to ensure a comfortable living environment.
  • Engagement: Build relationships with residents and their families, encouraging participation in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Observation and Reporting: Recognise and report any changes in resident conditions within your scope of practice.
Day-to-Day:

New staff members will participate in comprehensive onsite orientation, buddy shifts, and support from experienced Registered Nurses, Allied Health professionals, and Managers.

To Be Successful:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in aged care or dementia care.
  • Knowledge of complex dementia care, including challenging behaviours.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience working with people living with dementia and their unique needs.
  • Prioritisation of a Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care is advantageous.
