Homecare Technician - Delivering Quality Healthcare at Home

As a homecare technician, you will play a vital role in delivering medical equipment and services to patients in their homes. You will work autonomously, with ongoing support and training provided.

This dynamic role involves driving a company vehicle to deliver medical equipment, gas cylinders, and associated products to patients at their place of residence. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and understanding of medical equipment operating instructions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Adopt a safety-first approach and adapt to changing situations.
  • Organize patient setup with medical equipment as per prescription.
  • Provide detailed information and education on medical equipment usage.
  • Reinforce safety instructions and provide additional education during each visit.
  • Inform patients and carers of additional products or services they may be interested in.
  • Deliver medical equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.

Key Requirements:

  • Desirable experience within primary healthcare.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • A keen desire to learn and develop personally and professionally.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours.
