Cuscal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Risk Management Strategy and Regulatory Affairs function. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our Risk Management Framework and Strategy (RMFS).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Risk Management Framework: Contribute to the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of Cuscal's RMFS to ensure effective risk management and compliance with industry, regulatory, and prudential standards.
- Coordinate Risk Management Initiatives: Coordinate the implementation of strategic and emerging risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify and manage material risks.
- Governance and Oversight: Support the design, establishment, and ongoing review of RMFS governance structures, ensuring adherence to ESG frameworks and coordinating related reporting.
- Regulatory Engagement: Act as Cuscal's primary contact for regulators, ensuring all interactions meet policy standards with accurate and timely record keeping.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Build and lead an internal community to facilitate consultation, feedback, and knowledge sharing on matters relating to policy setting and reviews, regulatory change, and emerging risks.
- Decision-Making Support: Provide effective review and challenge as part of participation in the decision-making process, ensuring that material decisions are risk-based and risk frameworks support effective decision-making.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Relevant Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline, such as law, finance, business, or audit.
- Compliance Experience: Demonstrated experience in compliance management within the finance and banking industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A sound understanding of relevant laws and regulations, industry codes, standards, and prudential requirements.
- Operational Risk Management: Demonstrated experience in operational risk and compliance roles, including the design and implementation of effective risk and compliance management frameworks.
- Change Management: Strong change management, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to manage projects from initiation through to completion across multiple projects.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
