Key Responsibilities

The primary goal of this role is to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing section, ensuring maximum sales and providing exceptional customer service at all times. This includes operating the cash register as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a strong culture of safety by using equipment correctly, such as carton cutters, ladders, and trolleys.
  • Following established procedures in accordance with company standards.
  • Effective communication is essential; don't hesitate to ask questions if unsure.
  • Providing top-notch customer service to valued clients efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensuring high merchandising and presentation standards throughout your work area at all times.
  • Stocking, restocking, and rotating shelves and displays, with rotation being paramount.
  • Keeping your working area organized and tidy, with trolleys, ladders, and boxes placed neatly to the side, preventing trip hazards and maintaining customer flow.
  • Clean up any liquid spills immediately and section off the area for cleaning.
  • Operating and balancing the cash register effectively.
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal presentation and uniform.
  • Creating a positive work environment where colleagues enjoy coming to work.
  • Following instructions from managers at all times.
  • Assisting with product selection as required.
  • Participating in cleaning duties as necessary.
