Ten Tops Junior Member at Bernardi Group
The Ten Tops Junior Member is responsible for ensuring their section/store is adequately stocked, well merchandised and presented to maximise sales while providing excellent customer service at all times, including possible operation of the register if required. In a small team you will need to be skilled across all areas.
Responsibilities- Strong culture of safety at all times, including the correct use of carton cutters, ladders and trolleys
- Undertake departmental procedures as per Ten Tops standards
- Effective communication; ask questions if you are not sure
- Provide customer service to valued clients, efficiently and accurately
- Ensure a high level of merchandising and presentation standards in your work area
- Stock, replenish and rotate shelves and displays; rotation is paramount
- Keep the working area contained and tidy (trolleys, ladders and boxes to one side) to avoid trip hazards and impede customer flow
- Contain and clean up all liquid spills immediately
- Operate and balance the cash register
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and uniform
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming workplace
- Follow instructions from managers at all times
- Assist with product selection as required
- Cleaning duties as required
- Aim to be happy, punctual and reliable
- Keen to learn new skills
- Ability to listen and take instructions
- Enthusiastic about working with a team and connecting with people
- Ability to work weekends
- High presentation
- Excellent communication skills with an extrovert persona
- Customer service focus
