Food Service Manager Role

About this work area

In this Food Service Management position, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of food administration processes such as ordering, delivery control, and stock management to align with company policies and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for timely and accurate data registration and submission of reports, as well as effective handling of associated costs related to ordering, goods receiving, invoice control, waste registration, stock adjustments, and inventory management.
  • Developing, leading, and executing departmental action plans in conjunction with store business objectives.
  • Coordination of weekly/monthly inventory checks, identifying stock discrepancies, and notifying management for prompt corrective actions.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports on inventory, waste, staff meals, and other reports related to food costs to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to gross profit and margin development.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local laws and company policies to ensure all actions are in compliance.
