
Aquatic Program Assistant

As a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor, you will perform weekend and holiday work at our Aquatic Centre facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining pool facilities, identifying potential hazards or unsafe conditions and responding appropriately.
- Engaging in public relations and providing Aquatic or Fitness Programs, including Learn-to-Swim Instruction, Spin Classes, Group Fitness Classes and other duties as required.
- Undergoing relevant training and providing first aid to patrons.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality customer service.
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming or Royal Life Saving Swim Teacher qualification.
- Fitness Instructor Cert III or Higher (desirable).
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
- CPR and/or First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Lifeguard Certificate (desirable).
- Statement of Attainment in Aquatic Technical Operator (desirable).
