Job Title: Learn To Swim Instructor

As a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor, you will perform weekend and holiday work at our Aquatic Centre facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and maintaining pool facilities, identifying potential hazards or unsafe conditions and responding appropriately.
  • Engaging in public relations and providing Aquatic or Fitness Programs, including Learn-to-Swim Instruction, Spin Classes, Group Fitness Classes and other duties as required.
  • Undergoing relevant training and providing first aid to patrons.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality customer service.
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming or Royal Life Saving Swim Teacher qualification.
  • Fitness Instructor Cert III or Higher (desirable).
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • CPR and/or First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Lifeguard Certificate (desirable).
  • Statement of Attainment in Aquatic Technical Operator (desirable).
