Event Operations Assistant

The role involves assisting in the setup and management of various event venues for a range of events, including festivals, concerts, family fun days, and trade shows.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing event layouts and logistics
  • Coordinating with event staff and vendors
  • Providing excellent customer service to attendees
  • Assisting with event cleanup and maintenance

Additionally, the Event Operations Assistant may be required to:

  • Set up stage, lighting, and sound equipment
  • Manage merchandise stands and kiosks
  • Usher guests and assist with ticket checking

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A School Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field (not essential)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
