About the Role

Our team is seeking a skilled Planner to contribute to our NSW Planning initiatives. This role will focus on providing expert advice in urban planning and resource management, driving project success through effective planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and strategies, identifying business resource requirements and ensuring timely delivery of project outputs.
  • Provide technical expertise in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing, with a strong understanding of NSW urban planning and environmental legislation.
  • Manage and coordinate projects, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed goals and client expectations.
  • Prepare and review planning documentation, including strategies, reports, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Foster client relationships, identify business opportunities, and grow, develop, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or Architecture/Urban Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing, with extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with a drive to solve problems and produce innovative solutions.
