Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Field Service Engineer, where you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise and support for aircraft wheels and brakes, brake control systems, and wheel and brake repair and overhaul activities.

Your primary objectives will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by maintaining the highest standards of support for future sales campaigns and technical support.
  • Offering technical assistance and problem-solving services for aircraft wheels and brakes, brake control systems, and wheel and brake repair and overhaul activities.
  • Conducting training sessions for airline and maintenance shop personnel on maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborating closely with Customer Support Engineering (CSE) to provide front-line support.
  • Gathering and analyzing component reliability data.
  • Providing warranty support by investigating claims and issuing certificates.
  • Conducting stock audits at customer sites as required.
  • Serving as a local expert for B787 electro-mechanical brake system (EMBS) test equipment.
  • Supporting landing gear Field Service with structural interventions.
  • Providing engineering support to Landing Systems service centers.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent academic and professional experience.
  • A minimum of four years' experience with design and/or maintenance of aircraft, aircraft systems, or appliances, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Aircraft wheels and brake and landing gear experience is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Previous exposure to airline maintenance activities.
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft wheels and brakes and landing gear.
