Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship Program Overview

This nationally recognised qualification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering offers a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in aviation. As an apprentice, you will rotate through our Engineering departments and gain hands-on experience in line and overnight maintenance on our fleet.

  • Services and Repairs Gas Turbine Engines
  • Services and Repairs Airframe systems: Flight Controls, Air Conditioning, Pneumatic Systems
  • Carries out Rectification of Avionic Systems: Navigation, Display Systems, Communications
  • Carries out Modifications
  • Maintains and updates In Flight Entertainment
About the Role

We are seeking highly driven and motivated individuals to join our team. You will demonstrate well-established analytical skills, high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

  • Have a passion for a career in the aviation industry
  • Have a genuine interest and aptitude for hands-on mechanical/electrical work
  • A safety first attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Be 18 years or over
  • Hold a current state driver's licence (Provisional or above)
  • Minimum year 10 high school completion
  • Australian Citizenship or hold Australian Permanent Residency Status
  • The ability to work rotating shift rosters, including overnights - 24 hours, 7 days a week (inc public holidays)
  • Pass a full medical and background check
