Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a Labourer to join our team and share our passion for civil maintenance and asphalt labouring related projects.

  • The successful candidate will deliver a range of civil maintenance and asphalt labouring duties, working with the supervisor and team members to apply their skills to projects across the area.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete manual handling tasks and apply skills associated with civil maintenance and construction projects
  • Participate in daily meetings with supervisors and team members
  • Operate small plant items such as whipper snippers, whacker packers, mowers
Requirements:
  • Have appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to allow comprehension of worksite documentation
  • Have sound civil labouring skills using manual handling techniques
  • Hold Workcover General Construction Induction accreditation or obtain it prior to commencement
  • Be able to attain Roads & Traffic Authority Controllers Certificate and LR Driver licence after commencement if not already possessed
