Job Opportunity: Civil Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Labourer to join our team, responsible for providing maintenance services on network assets and ensuring the provision of high-quality reliable water related services in a safe, customer-centric, environmentally responsible and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of water and sewer mains, surface fittings including hydrants, valves, access chambers etc.
  • Undertake all hands-on aspects construction delivery, plant, transport and specialist field services including the excavation of trenches, laying pipes, restoration, plant operation, truck driving, steel fixing and carpentry using both mechanical and manual methods to complete designated projects.
  • Maintain good client relations and meet client needs as communicated by briefs, specifications, drawings and contract documents.
  • Be responsible for the safe operation of equipment and assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current MR licence
  • Manual labouring experience ideally within maintenance; stormwater drainage, civil experience or water main
  • Front End Loader and Confined Space tickets are highly desirable
  • Ability to travel across the Sydney Water network of operations
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday between 6.30am - 4pm with flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed
