About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our team as a Mechanical Design Engineer. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating mechanical engineering projects from conceptual design through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations, and plant design;
  • Provide technical oversight and review of mechanical deliverables;
  • Coordinate with designers and drafters to ensure timely and accurate production of design documents;
  • Monitor project progress and schedules to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeframe;
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant company policies, procedures, and quality management requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, civil, electrical);
  • At least 5 years of experience in minerals process plant design and engineering;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Autodesk software packages;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Extensive knowledge of mineral processing technologies and unit operations.
