**Job Overview:**

The role of General Manager Education and Training is to lead the development and delivery of education and training programs for Surf Life Saving South Australia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in training, education, or learning and development, with experience in leading high-performing teams and driving growth, quality, and innovation in training programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide strategic leadership for SLSSA's education portfolio, spanning both commercial and member-based training.
  • Align all education and training programs with SLSSA's Strategic Plan and the national Surf Life Saving education framework.
  • Champion innovation in training delivery models, assessment quality, and learner experience across all education channels.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in training, education, or learning and development.
  • Sound working knowledge of the VET Quality Framework and relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive growth, quality, and innovation in training programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder and communication skills.

**Hours of Work:**
