As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will drive quality excellence in mining operations through strategic collaboration with suppliers and procurement teams. You will have expertise in developing solutions to complex problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering value to customers.

About the Role

The team seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure high-quality raw materials are processed efficiently. You will be responsible for providing QA/QC subject matter expertise, applying advanced engineering and statistical techniques, driving process improvements, and ensuring site QMS aligns with ISO 9001 standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality systems across the plant, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will identify and mitigate potential risks, develop contingency plans, and optimize quality processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing QA/QC subject matter expertise to ensure high-quality raw materials
  • Applying advanced engineering and statistical techniques to drive process improvements
  • Ensuring site QMS aligns with ISO 9001 standards and One Manufacturing requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality systems
