Quality Assurance Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead quality assurance initiatives.

This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality raw materials are entering processes, collaborating with suppliers and procurement teams.

The ideal candidate will be driven by data, with a knack for development and identifying opportunities for improvement as well as delivering value to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides subject matter expertise to ensure product compliance;
  • Applies advanced techniques for process control;
  • Drives improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity;
  • Ensures site quality management systems align with ISO 9001 standards; and
  • Supports quality systems across the plant.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with several years' experience in a manufacturing industry environment;
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and auditor qualifications;
  • Experience in lean, project planning, structured problem solving and liaising with experts to develop solutions;
  • Minitab experience or advanced levels with MS Excel;
  • Knowledge of systems and their documentation;
  • Able to work autonomously;
  • Deliver on project requirements;
  • High attention to detail; and
  • Experience in auditing.
