Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical processes used in manufacturing, as well as support equipment located in the building or on the grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant machinery, equipment, building, and grounds.
  • Utilize 5S principles, support continuous improvement activities, root cause analysis, PM, TPM, and best maintenance practices.
  • Fabricate and install special equipment as needed.
  • Meet or exceed safety requirements including 5S, PPE, forklift, aerial lift, LOTO, and awareness training.
Requirements
  • High-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and failure diagnostics knowledge.
  • Experience with AC/DC drives, motor controls, PLCs, and electro/mechanical devices.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams, and use sketches for communication.
  • Proficiency with shop tools and machinery, including welders, oxy-acetylene torches, band saws, drill presses, and hand tools.
