Hotel Property Leader Job Overview:

This role oversees the operation and strategic management of a hotel property. A highly effective Hotel General Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving revenue growth, and ensuring seamless operational execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies to boost guest satisfaction, profitability, and market presence
  • Lead the leadership team in implementing key initiatives and monitor their professional development
  • Maintain optimal sales performance by leveraging available tools and undertaking proactive sales activities
  • Foster strong relationships with owners through clear communication, setting expectations, and achieving desired business outcomes
  • Promote engagement with the local community, establish connections with officials, businesses, and customers

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the hotel industry, preferably as GM/HM in similar or larger size hotels
  • Outstanding skills in food and beverage, event management, rooms operations, revenue management, human resources, and quality assurance
  • Able to navigate complex organizational structures and utilize centralized resources effectively
  • Adept at managing multiple projects independently and efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving results and creating unique guest experiences

  • Proven ability to analyze financial trends, make data-driven decisions, and adjust business strategies accordingly
  • Skillful communicator with excellent influence, consensus building, and negotiation abilities
