Financial Performance Leader
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled finance leader to drive financial performance and governance across the organisation.
This strategic role will lead a high-performing team, deliver critical financial insights, and ensure compliance with financial regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead finance capability aligned with our financial goals.
- Ensure robust governance and compliance with financial regulations.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide sustainable financial outcomes and financial insights.
- Drive strategic financial improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and value.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting and revenue management.
- Effectively manage key external stakeholders, including Treasury and the Audit Office.
- Lead process improvements and implement technology-driven efficiencies.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Offer:- 10+ years in senior or executive finance leadership.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent).
- Strong experience in corporate finance, accounting, tax, capital management, and reporting.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in utilities.
- Strong commercial acumen, change leadership, and ability to build trusted relationships.
