Job Description

The Business Operations Manager is a key leadership role within the organization. They are responsible for strategic oversight and management of financial operations, risk management, asset management, procurement, and emergency response.

This role requires strong leadership to drive efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in the use of resources. The manager will work closely with executive and senior managers to provide insights to support the formulation of strategic initiatives and policy decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level strategic advice on business operations strategy, business planning, and resource management.
  • Lead and oversee financial operations and budget management functions, including creation and execution of a cohesive financial and budget policy framework.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for risk management frameworks, governance of risk and audit activities.
  • Lead client-focused advisory services for procurement and contracting matters.
  • Ensure effective management and coordination of emergency planning, preparedness, incident response management, and recovery activities.
  • Provide high-level strategic and authoritative policy advice on relevant business operations issues and risks.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in client service and business improvement across the division.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, finance, economics, law, or commerce.
