Strategic Financial Leader

TasNetworks is seeking an accomplished financial strategist to lead our team in driving the strategic financial outcomes of major business projects, financial transactions, and investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial and commercial advice on major projects and complex transactions.
  • Develop and implement financial models to support strategic planning and drive profitable outcomes.
  • Manage treasury activities, including capital structure, borrowing terms, and long-term debt planning.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance and effective subsidiary performance.
  • Lead financial analysis and scenario development to support strategic decision-making.
  • Offer expert financial advice to senior leadership and business units.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading complex financial transactions and implementing business models.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business improvement initiatives with a commercial focus.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships across the organisation.
