The role of General Manager, Operations is a key leadership and management position within an organization. It oversees strategic direction, financial operations, risk management, asset management, procurement, and emergency response.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and overseeing financial operations, including creating and executing a cohesive financial policy framework
  • Developing and implementing risk management frameworks and integrating them into business processes
  • Providing leadership and strategic direction for procurement and contracting matters
  • Ensuring effective management and coordination of emergency planning, preparedness, incident response management, and recovery activities

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and strategic skills, with the ability to provide high-level advice on business operations issues and risks. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a culture of excellence in client service and business improvement.

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, finance, economics, law, or commerce, or other relevant field
