Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Interface Project Manager to oversee the management of interfaces within our growing Substation team. This role will be responsible for managing third-party interfaces with OEM suppliers, clients, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Network Operator, client, internal delivery arms, and support services to ensure energy supplier connections meet the requirements set out in various electrical standards, designs, and processes.
  • Manage the procurement and ongoing supplier relationships for all substation electrical equipment.
  • Drive commercial assessments of changes imposed by external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical equipment, ideally in Substations.
  • Exposure to OEM suppliers both in Australia and Internationally.
  • Understanding of Australian standards with regards to electrical equipment.
  • Problem-solving/analytics skills.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of layout and primary equipment for substation projects up to 500kV.
