Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Firmware Developer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing firmware for our cutting-edge motorcycle helmets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and integrate firmware modules for our helmet systems.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and product managers to ensure firmware meets product requirements.
- Work closely with hardware teams and chip vendors to bring up and validate hardware.
- Guide and coordinate firmware development efforts across local and overseas teams.
- Research and create proof-of-concepts for future product technologies.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software/firmware development.
- Strong C programming skills and expertise in firmware development for consumer electronic products.
- Proficient in low-level interrupt handling, device drivers, and high-level media applications.
- Experience with network architecture, internet protocols (TCP, IP, UDP, mDNS), and network application programming.
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth Classic Audio profiles (HFP, HSP, A2DP).
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a consummate team player.
Bonus Points:
- Good understanding of an embedded system RTOS such as Linux, ThreadX, uItron, etc.
- Familiarity with WiFi communication.
