We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer to join our team. As a Performance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and execute performance test cases for all applications using chosen scripting languages.
  • Adhere to performance best practices and coding standards to ensure tests are reusable, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Collaborate with Test team members on reviewing test cases for performance readiness.
  • Increase knowledge and understanding of application functionality, business rules, and customer journeys to improve performance.
  • Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines that provide performance and timely feedback on application quality.
  • Work with technical teams to identify performance enhancement opportunities in environment setup, configurations, and deployments.
  • Produce comprehensive performance test reports, including defects, to ensure transparency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Triage performance test failures with test team members.
  • Contribute actively to the Test Community of Practice, sharing advancements and best practices in test performance.
  • Champion a 'Performance First' approach to testing, collaborating with developers and test analysts.
Qualifications & Experience

We require :

  • A degree in Information Technology or a related field from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a performance engineer.
  • Demonstrated sound communication skills, effectively engaging with technical staff, end-users, and management.
  • Demonstrated experience in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of performance frameworks.
