What You Will Get to Do:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our performance testing capabilities, including designing, and implementing performance test strategies, frameworks, and reporting modules. Key areas of this role include:

• Design and implement a performance test strategy that can be scaled across our technology product portfolio, ensuring comprehensive and effective testing.
• Adopt and customize performance test frameworks to suit the specific needs of the applications under test.
• Develop a performance test reporting module to communicate application performance metrics clearly and effectively.
• Partner with internal and external teams to create user profiles and workload models, enhancing the accuracy of performance tests.
• Collaborate with application architects on capacity planning and modelling exercises to optimize system performance.
• Lead Agile teams to integrate performance testing within sprints, ensuring performance considerations are part of the development process.
• Train and upskill existing and new QA Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development in performance testing.

What You Will Bring:

We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer with broad experience in performance testing and a strong ability to communicate findings and recommendations.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have significant experience in performance testing, including expertise with tools such as Apache JMeter, Gatling, and LoadRunner.
• Demonstrate proven experience in building performance test frameworks and reporting dashboards.
• Possess strong skills in performance engineering tasks, such as capacity planning and application performance management.
• Have experience setting up performance testing environments in the cloud, preferably AWS.
• Be able to influence and provide technical direction, with excellent communication skills to discuss outcomes and recommendations with stakeholders.
