Domestic Violence Case Manager

Support affected family members participating in family violence intervention order hearings from remote locations across the Barwon and South West region of Victoria. The goal is to improve user experience by providing active court support.
- The practitioner will work closely with local community and justice sector agencies to ensure safe and supported pathways for affected family members to access the justice system.
This role requires a passionate and experienced specialist family violence professional who can assess immediate safety risks, develop safety plans, and provide referrals internally and externally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing immediate safety risks and developing safety plans;
- Providing referrals internally and externally;
- Engaging with the local community sector to deliver training and support in court processes to improve integrated service responses to family violence;
Required skills and qualifications include relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, or other related fields, and a strong commitment to improving affected family members' safety, service experience, and access to the justice and broader service system.
We are seeking an individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, who is able to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
