We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Foodbuy team, based in Adelaide. This role will involve being a key point of contact for internal & external customers, focusing on supply chain matters.

Main duties include:

  • Acting as an intermediary between operators, the purchasing department, and the E-Business team
  • Sourcing and providing quotes in a timely manner to support the sales process
  • Providing logistics support and resolving supply issues
  • Evaluating suppliers' cost of goods, logistics, quality, and overall service
  • Influencing unit managers to understand the strategic direction of supply chain and the purchasing process
  • Ensuring suppliers meet company policy requirements
  • Conducting desktop audits on key suppliers periodically
  • Completing monthly reports, including invoice price checks, site compliance, and training on systems
  • Managing an Excel-based catalogue

A successful candidate will have:

  • Foodservice experience with a demonstrated background in operations
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze situations and problem-solve
  • Experience in customer service roles
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain (desirable)
