Job Title: Assistant Site Manager
Role Overview:
This role is responsible for working alongside a team of grain handlers to deliver a safe and effective service in the receival, storage and outload of grain via road and rail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating day-to-day workflow of the team and supporting the attraction, selection, training, and development of permanent and casual team members.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with growers, customers, local community groups, and internal stakeholders.
- Assisting the Site Manager to implement and review site plans, participate in site financial planning, and achieve site targets.
- Supporting resource planning for grain receival / outload activity during peak and off-peak periods.
- Supervising a large seasonal workforce during busy harvest intake periods.
