Risk Management Specialist

Role Overview
The Star Entertainment Group is seeking a skilled Risk Management Specialist to assist in the delivery and management of the controls library and register. This role will involve implementing processes to improve controls for adequate risk and compliance management, managing the effectiveness of remediation and control uplift activities, and supporting business leaders to identify, assess, and manage risks in line with the risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement controls processes to improve risk and compliance management
- Manage the effectiveness of remediation and control uplift activities
- Support business leaders to identify, assess, and manage risks
- Report the outcomes of control testing
- Conduct regular risk and control self-assessments
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a legal, commercial, or business field
- Previous experience in developing, uplifting, testing, and improving controls processes
- Experience as a Risk Operations Controls Officer, Risk, or Compliance Officer in a large, complex, highly regulated organisation
- Ability to interpret data and information and provide audit reports and analysis
