Senior Leadership Role

This senior leadership role is responsible for the operational management and delivery of NAP events. The successful candidate will provide leadership to the operational team, manage assessment work streams, and oversee the day-to-day running of NAPLAN operational activities.

  • Provide leadership to an operational team of eight, comprising project managers, product managers, operational specialists, and help desk staff.
  • Manage assessment work streams including Operational Support and Projects.
  • Oversee the daily operations of NAPLAN activities for ESA.
  • Support the Program Director as a key point of contact for operational activities within the scope of NAPLAN.
  • Take a lead role in triaging issues for the platform and prioritize issue resolution.
  • Identify risks and raise issues in a timely manner, working with the Program Director to manage and mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of NAPLAN operational processes and governance, significant project management experience in online environments, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver NAP events on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • To manage a team of operational specialists to ensure smooth operation of NAPLAN activities.
  • To identify and mitigate risks associated with NAP events.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in operational management, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with NAPLAN processes and procedures.
