Master Road Infrastructure Specialist

A leading infrastructure consulting firm seeks a skilled Principal Road Designer to lead major road projects. As part of our civil infrastructure team, you will oversee the design component of projects and ensure timely completion within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project delivery, including planning, resourcing, and coordinating road design teams.
- Identify and resolve technical road design issues through effective communication and collaboration with project teams.
- Lead a high-performing road design project team, providing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Contribute to project planning, determining resource requirements, and evaluating document production.
- Maintain open communication with project managers, team leaders, and clients to ensure effective project progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads software is essential.
- Significant experience in project delivery environments, particularly in roads and highways design.
- Knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design is required, with additional state-based standards knowledge desirable.
- Familiarity with local authority CADD standards and deliverables is beneficial.
