Job Title: Senior Road Design Expert

CJC Management is a specialist civil and structural engineering consultancy delivering high-quality design and project management services across Australia.

We work with clients including Transport for NSW, local councils, airports, providing tailored solutions on projects ranging from major highways to airport access roads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver road, drainage, and pavement designs from concept through to detailed design
  • Manage design packages ensuring compliance with TfNSW, council, and relevant Australian standards
  • Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs including staging bridges and associated civil works
  • Liaise with clients stakeholders and contractors to clarify requirements and resolve design issues
  • Undertake design management QA processes and coordination with drafters
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters
  • Prepare design reports cost estimates and supporting project documentation
Requirements:
  • 8–10+ years experience in road and civil design ideally with exposure to varied project scales
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or equivalent for road drainage and pavement design
  • Strong understanding of TfNSW and local government standards
  • Experience managing design packages and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing capability
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
