Job Description

The organisation is currently undertaking multiple large-scale technical projects and has a requirement for a comprehensive multi-program-level test approach and strategy.

As the Program Test Manager, you will be responsible for enabling testing through the provisioning of test environments, testing tools, testing procedures and the effective use of resources in a fit for purpose approach.

Key responsibilities include implementing a program-level test strategy, facilitating, coordinating and supporting the effective execution of testing cycles, acting as a key escalation point for testing related program/project issues, managing them effectively with relevant SMEs, delivery leads and project managers as required.

You will perform effective test scheduling across the program(s), with due consideration of project delivery plans, resourcing, use of testing cycles and mitigating regression risk.

Additionally, you will manage the monitoring and reporting of project testing related trends and performance against project plans and schedules, identify, promote, improve and embed the use of appropriate testing techniques, methodologies and tools, including risk, issue and defect management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience as a Test Manager across the full testing lifecycle with a minimum 5 years' experience leading testing in large organisations with multifaceted systems.
  • Testing experience in a complex environment.
  • Experience creating and managing test plans in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with MS Office suite such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels.
