About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supply Chain Manager. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, developing category strategies, and driving cost savings initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Improvement: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Category Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop category plans and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- New Revenue + Business Continuity + Sustainability & CSR: Support business teams in introducing new products, identifying alternative materials and suppliers, and monitoring industry trends.
- OHS Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to all OHS policies and procedures, report hazards and incidents, and maintain a safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in supply chain management. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to build trust-based relationships with internal and external partners, and have a creative and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
Key Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, financial or technical study.
- Minimum of 5 years regional procurement experience preferred.
- Experience in a large international corporate environment with multiple BU's, operating in multiple currencies and a decentralized management structure preferred.
- High level user of Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical skills, good knowledge of business analysis and costing – TCO models.
- Basic knowledge of legal documents, able to read and interpret contracts, and involve the legal support when necessary through Plant Director.
Benefits
