Job Description

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Laboratory/Sample Management Specialist to manage the receipt, inventory, and labeling of samples and reagents in compliance with laboratory standards.

This role involves receiving, logging, and storing samples and reagents, maintaining storage conditions, managing chain of custody, preparing shipments, and documenting sample destruction.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting lab operations, including sample preparation, cryopreservation, thawing, and counting, as well as equipment maintenance, inventory, and file archiving.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Laboratory Sciences or relevant field
  • 1 year of laboratory experience is an asset
  • Experience working in a biological safety cabinet under sterile conditions
  • Experience with PBMC isolation (Ficoll or CPT), cryopreservation, thawing, and counting with a hemocytometer is an asset
  • Experience in a GLP/GCLP environment is an asset
