About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Claims Officer to join our team at the Royal Automobile Association. As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for handling motor insurance claims, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage motor insurance claims from receipt to settlement
- Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
- Process claims within established guidelines, efficiently and professionally
- Liaise with stakeholders such as assessors, loss adjusters, investigators, and solicitors
- Process claims and associated administration
- Achieve set KPIs and quality targets consistently
About You
We are looking for a confident and passionate individual who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a high-performing culture. You should have:
- Motor or similar general insurance claims experience
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to apply learnings across different scenarios
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The empathy to deal with customers who have suffered a loss
- A positive can-do attitude and team ethos
- Intermediate PC skills, and experience with insurance-based systems
