P&C Business Partnership Opportunity

UGL is seeking an experienced P&C professional to join their Corporate team based in North Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and expertise to drive initiatives across the company's operating divisions.


About the Role

This is a key role that offers exposure to senior leadership, working at the General Manager level and reporting to a Group Manager who works directly with the Executive General Manager ELT. The position provides excellent opportunities to support decision-making at the highest levels within the organisation.


Main Responsibilities
  • Support the corporate team with everyday P&C admin tasks, including changes to work conditions, advising on parental leave, coaching managers on challenging conversations, drafting show cause letters and processing promotions or other approvals.
  • Guide leaders in setting objectives, having meaningful mid-year check-in conversations and completing end-of-year reviews using Oracle HCM.
  • Play a key role in the companywide Employee Engagement Survey project, from communications to presenting actionable insights to senior leaders.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar P&C/HR role for a large complex environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Being tech savvy with a strong ability to navigate software and systems such as Oracle HCM or SAP.
  • High level of confidentiality and high attention to detail.
