About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and safety-focused transportation professionals to join our team as Professional Drivers at McColl's Transport. This is a full-time and casual opportunity for an immediate start based in our depots.

As a Professional Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up products in a safe manner to customer sites, prioritizing your workload, and conducting yourself safely and professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering and Picking Up Products: Safely transport products to customer sites, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Following WHS Regulations: Comply with all Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and further the safety culture within the organization.
  • Reading and Following Procedures: Familiarize yourself with and follow all relevant procedures and work instructions.
  • Liaising with Customers: Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Accountability for Paperwork: Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • A current MC licence;
  • Heavy vehicle driving experience;
  • An excellent Driver History Report;
  • Ability to work within a team environment, as well as unsupervised;
  • Excellent customer service skills, communication, written and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong focus on doing the job safely and compliantly with a solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Road Transport Legislation;
  • A strong work ethic and customer focus;
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster;
  • Ability to do shift work;
  • A current HC or MC licence.
